Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Senior Pursuit Coordinator to lead high-value A/E/C proposals. You will direct all phases of the pursuit lifecycle, shaping messaging and win strategy while mentoring staff.

The role requires strong InDesign skills and a proven track record in complex, deadline-driven environments. The position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration multiple days per week, reporting to the regional Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of A/E/C proposal/pursuit experience.
• Proven experience leading large, complex proposals.
• Strong understanding of public-sector procurement and proposal processes.
• Experience contributing to pursuit strategy and positioning.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pursuits, including large, complex, high-profile opportunities.
• Direct all phases of the pursuit lifecycle from strategy through final submission.
• Develop pursuit strategies, win themes, and messaging frameworks.
• Facilitate pursuit planning meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to shape approaches and differentiate submissions.
• Oversee proposal development, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Lead proposal production, layout, graphics, and final delivery.
• Manage multiple concurrent pursuits with aggressive deadlines.
• Assist with presentation materials and training for junior staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
