Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Marketing and Procurement Specialist to lead proposal development, SOQs, and client outreach.

You will manage procurement platforms, coordinate with technical staff, and produce marketing materials in accordance with company policies and copyright laws. The role supports growth across Columbia, MD, Washington, D.C., and Pennington, NJ, with potential for remote or hybrid work.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics, business administration, data science, communications, or public relations with four (4) years or more progressive professional experience in marketing, sales operations, business development; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• Proficiency in CRM applications, AI tools, research tools, and knowledge of bid procurement platforms is required.
• Understanding of RFQ/RFP processes and federal, state, and local procurement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop compliant, comprehensive, and compelling submittals (proposals and SOQs) at regional or corporate levels to win work.
• Manage, schedule, edit, and produce proposals and other marketing materials in line with Geosyntec policies and copyright laws.
• Coordinate with regional leaders to identify target clients and market sectors and ensure bid notification coverage.
• Screen and distribute bid opportunities to senior service directors and practitioners; support pursuit plans and client outreach ahead of RFP release.
• Conduct client and market research and provide intelligence for Go/No-Go decisions and internal performance reporting.
