Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Marketing and Procurement Specialist to lead proposal development and marketing initiatives across Columbia, MD, Washington, DC, or Pennington, NJ.

The role supports comprehensive submittals, SOQs, resumes, and other materials in alignment with company policies and regulations. The position offers potential for remote or hybrid work at the company’s discretion, with responsibilities including market intelligence, client outreach, and bid strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Copilot, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint; CRM & AI tools.
• Understanding RFQ/RFP processes and procurement procedures.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, with data synthesis for strategic pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement platform initiatives: identify platforms, register accounts, select categories, monitor solicitations.
• Maintain internal opportunity tracking with data, contacts, pursuit status.
• Partner with regional leaders to identify target clients and markets and ensure bid notification coverage.
• Screen and distribute bid opportunities to senior directors and practitioners.
• Develop pursuit plans and client outreach ahead of RFP release.
• Research competitors, past, current, and prospective markets, and corporate experience.
• Research client organizations, regulatory drivers, and funding indicators.
• Contribute to Go/No-Go decisions with relevant client intel and context.
• Highlight positive performance metrics for use in proposals and marketing materials.
• Prepare summaries and reports on opportunity pipelines, client engagement metrics, and market trends.
• Perform special projects as required.
