Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the United States (Tampa, FL area) is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive consistent, best-in-class project delivery.

You will coach PM teams, monitor performance across commercial, quality, and risk metrics, and advise on risk management and commercial evaluation. The role involves leading PIR activities, implementing PM practices, and coordinating with leadership on resource planning, pricing strategies, and project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable technical, business, or professional degree.
• Strong project management skills, with experience organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Ability to identify a project heading towards distress and provide mitigation or corrective actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Understanding of Stantec financial methodologies, procedures, and policies.
• Knowledge of contracts and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs with implementing HSSE practices and protect health and safety of employees, clients and the public.
• Collaborate with leadership to assign projects and PIR responsibilities; oversee PM staff for timely, effective performance.
• Serve as PIR for projects and conduct regular reviews of budget, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Drive consistent PM practices aligned with Stantec PM requirements and risk management framework.
• Assist in developing proposal pricing and review of project scopes, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with PMs to implement corrective actions for distressed projects and address issues.
