Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive best-in-class project delivery across the PM team. You will coach PMs, oversee PIR reviews, and ensure alignment with Stantec’s PM practices, risk controls, and commercial evaluation.

You will lead resource planning, pricing strategy, and governance, while working with BC leadership to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction across multiple business centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least several years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills with experience from pursuit through closeout.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration across teams.
• Knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements, and financial methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and commercial processes across PM teams to ensure consistent delivery.
• Coach and develop PMs, oversee PIR reviews, and monitor budget, schedule and risk metrics.
• Drive risk management, pricing strategies, and change management aligned with PM framework.
• Coordinate with leaders to implement improvements in processes and resource management.
• Interface with clients to manage scope, schedule, and budget while pursuing billable work.
