Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive consistent, best-in-class project delivery. You will develop the PM community, coach PMs, monitor performance, and ensure effective application of PM practices across PM teams in the business center.

This role reports to the Senior PMCL and involves coordination with BC leadership and PMLs. You will lead project reviews, manage budgets and schedules, and support proposal pricing while ensuring compliance with PM Framework

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable degree with 8+ years’ experience.
• Proven ability to lead projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements, and financial methods.
• Ability to identify distress in projects and implement mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Support HSSE practices across PM teams and field activities.
• Lead and mentor project managers and controls staff.
• Oversee project reviews, budgets, schedules, and risk.
• Drive PM practices aligned with PM framework and SOX controls.
• Assist in pricing, proposals, and commercial risk evaluation.
• Coordinate with BC leadership and PMLs on resource assignments.
