Job summary

Stantec’s Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) drives best-in-class project delivery across the PM team, coaching and monitoring performance with emphasis on commercial, quality and risk metrics. You’ll contribute to proposal reviews, risk management and guidance on delivery processes, with authority comparable to BCOL/BCPL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent mix of skills.
• Strong project management skills to plan, pursue and close projects.
• Ability to identify distressed projects and advise on mitigation actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration across stakeholders.
• Knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements and PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health and Safety practices and model HSSE values in project delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership to assign projects and PIR responsibilities.
• Oversee PM staff performance, training on Oracle dashboards and IPS.
• Drive consistent PM practices and ensure alignment with PM requirements.
• Support project risk reviews, budget, schedule, and quality management.
• Assist with project setup, intercompany agreements, and documentation.
