Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive consistent, best-in-class project delivery by developing the PM community across the team. Reporting to the Senior PMCL, this role coaches and monitors performance, including commercial, quality, and risk metrics, and guides project management across the business center.

The PMCL supports proposal reviews, performance analysis, and guidance on delivery, risk, and commercial evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable degree with 8 years of experience.
• Strong project management skills across pursuit through closeout.
• Ability to identify a project heading towards distress and provide mitigation guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Stantec financial methodologies, procedures, and policies.
• Knowledge of contracts and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs with implementing HSSE practices.
• Collaborate with BC leadership to assign projects and PIR coverage.
• Oversee PM staff to ensure timely, effective performance.
• Provide training on Oracle dashboard, IPS, and change management.
• Lead and support improvements to project delivery processes.
• Pursue billable work and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
