Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead to enhance project delivery across the PM team. The role reports to the Senior PMCL, coaching PMs, monitoring performance, and guiding risk and commercial evaluations.

Responsibilities include PIR leadership, process standardization, and collaboration with BC leadership to optimize staffing, estimates, and controls. Strong PM, communication, and contract knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable technical, business, or professional degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Ability to identify a project heading towards distress and provide mitigation or corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Project Independent Reviewer (PIR) for PMs.
• Monitor project performance, including budget, schedule, risk, and quality management.
• Lead and support implementation of project management practices and risk reviews.
