Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive best-in-class project delivery across its PM Team. You will coach, monitor performance, and ensure effective implementation of PM practices, with authority equivalent to BCOL/BCPL and guidance to PMLs.

You will support HSSE, lead PIR reviews, manage budgets and schedules, and help shape risk and commercial strategies for projects across the BOU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable field with ample experience.
• Strong project management skills including planning and execution.
• Knowledge of contracts and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs with HSSE practices and project delivery quality.
• Collaborate with BC leadership to assign projects and PIR coverage.
• Oversee PM staff to ensure timely and effective performance.
• Lead project review meetings and monitor budget, schedule and risk.
• Drive PM practices in line with Stantec requirements and framework.
• Assist in risk reviews and documentation for projects.
• Pursue billable work and manage scope, schedule and cost.
