Job summary

Maersk in the United States seeks a Senior Business Development Manager in Project Logistics to develop and support complex opportunities within Oil & Gas. You will collaborate with commercial teams, solution design, and customers to shape commercial strategies, bids, and tailored project logistics solutions.

You will influence major engagements, lead technical sales discussions, review contracts, and drive growth with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within Project Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Oil & Gas Logistics, EPC project support, or related industries.
• Deep knowledge of Oil & Gas supply chains, project cargo operations, and specialized logistics solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting solution-based sales, customer growth initiatives, and strategic account development.
• Effective communication with stakeholders from operations to executives.
• Ability to present complex logistics solutions clearly and professionally.
• Experience applying pricing and contract review to profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify project logistics opportunities generated by commercial teams.
• Lead or support RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
• Collaborate with solution design to develop pricing strategies.
• Act as SME for Maersk Project Logistics with customers and internal teams.
• Review customer contracts to ensure compliance with product standards.
• Support new business pursuits with customer presentations and technical discussions.
• Promote Project Logistics capabilities across teams.
• Provide market intelligence to support product development.
