Job summary

Maersk in the United States is seeking a Senior Implementation Lead to manage medium to high complexity customer implementations and drive end-to-end project plans across functions and geographies. The role requires coordinating with operations, IT, HR, and finance to ensure readiness and successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven logistics project management experience, a PMP/ACP‑PMI certification or equivalent, and strong skills with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be curious to solve problems at the root.
• Proven experience leading logistics or supply chain implementations with multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of international supply chain operations including ocean, air, trucking, customs, and milestones visibility.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and internal stakeholders at operational and senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer implementations of medium to high complexity, ensuring a smooth transition from commercial award to stable operations.
• Own and drive the end-to-end implementation project plan across functions and geographies.
• Establish project milestones, readiness criteria, and go/no-go stage gates with clear visibility to stakeholders.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues from award through hypercare.
• Act as the central point of coordination for customers during onboarding, ensuring scope adherence.
• Partner with operational teams to ensure readiness, staffing, training, and IT/EDI integration.
• Contribute to commercial opportunities by supporting solution design and pre-sale engagements.
• Capture lessons learned and share best practices to improve methodologies.
