Job summary

Maersk Project Logistics is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive complex Oil & Gas logistics opportunities. You will collaborate with commercial teams, solution design experts, and customers to shape strategies, support bids, and craft tailored project logistics solutions.

You will influence major engagements and lead technical sales discussions, establishing Maersk as a trusted logistics partner for energy and engineering leaders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within Project Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Oil & Gas Logistics, EPC project support, or related industries.
• Deep knowledge of Oil & Gas supply chains, project cargo operations, and specialized logistics solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting solution-based sales, customer growth initiatives, and strategic account development.
• Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from operational teams through executive-level customer contacts.
• Present complex logistics solutions in a clear, professional, and customer-focused manner.
• Apply strong financial, pricing, and contract review capabilities to support profitable business growth.
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Bring strong understanding of industry trends, customer requirements, and market dynamics within the energy and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify project logistics opportunities generated by commercial teams.
• Lead or support RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, ensuring proposals are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with solution design teams to develop pricing strategies and technically sound logistics solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Maersk Project Logistics, supporting both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Review customer contracts and commercial requirements to ensure compliance with product standards and operational capabilities.
• Support new business pursuits through customer presentations, technical sales discussions, and solution development activities.
• Promote Project Logistics capabilities across internal commercial teams and external customer organizations.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, providing market intelligence and feedback to support product development and continuous improvement.
