Job summary

Maersk in the United States seeks a senior implementation lead to manage medium to high complexity customer deployments, transitioning from award to stable operations across functions and regions.

You will own the end-to-end plan, set milestones, manage risks, and coordinate IT, operations, HR, and finance, while communicating clearly with customers and internal stakeholders to protect delivery and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics or supply chain implementations in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong project management capability with certification or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders at operational and senior levels.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer implementations of medium to high complexity, ensuring a smooth transition from commercial award to stable operations
• Own and drive the end-to-end implementation project plan across functions and geographies, including operations, IT, HR, and finance
• Establish project milestones, readiness criteria, and go/no-go stage gates, providing clear visibility to internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues from award through hypercare, escalating where required to protect delivery and profitability
• Act as the central point of coordination for customers during onboarding, ensuring scope adherence and alignment with the solution sold
• Partner with operational teams to ensure readiness, including SOPs/IOPs, staffing, training, IT/EDI integration, KPI reporting, and service quality
• Contribute to commercial opportunities by supporting solution design and presenting the implementation approach during pre-sale and sales engagements
• Capture lessons learned and share best practices to continuously improve implementation methodologies and execution standards
