Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to support the Transportation and Infrastructure portfolio. You will partner with Project Managers to drive profitability, ensure financial compliance, and deliver accurate forecasts across multiple projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in project accounting/finance within engineering or professional services, plus strong Excel and Oracle ERP skills and the ability to influence stakeholders while maintaining robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA, CGA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 3–5 years in project accounting or project finance in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.
• Experience with medium to large project portfolios.
• Advanced Excel and ERP skills (Oracle preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers to support financial success of projects.
• Guide project setup with budgets, WBS, billing methods, and rates.
• Review project performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Forecast, revenue recognition, and profitability management.
• Monitor contract terms, billing, and revenue recognition methods.
