WSP USA is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to support our Transportation and Infrastructure portfolio. You will partner with Project Managers to drive profitability, forecast accuracy, and financial compliance across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project finance experience in professional services or construction, with strong Excel and Oracle ERP skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver actionable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Professional accounting/finance designation (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CGA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 3–5 years of project accounting or project finance experience in engineering, construction, or consulting.
• Strong project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Experience supporting medium to large, complex project portfolios.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Project Managers to support financial success of projects.
• Provide guidance on budgets, WBS, billing methods, and rates.
• Review project financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Support forecasting, revenue recognition, and profitability management.
• Analyze labor usage, project costs, and margins to improve performance.
• Advise teams on funding, contract requirements, and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and documentation.
• Prepare and review forecasts, budgets, and financial projections.
• Monitor contract terms, revenue recognition methods, and closeouts.
• Provide financial reporting and commentary to leadership.
