Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams, guiding budgeting, pricing and revenue recognition while safeguarding profitability across a portfolio of projects.

You will support financial planning, assess risks, and ensure adherence to contract terms and company policies. Strong Excel, ERP and PowerBI skills are required, with experience in multi-project forecasting and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant post-education project finance or commercial finance experience.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with ERP and PowerBI is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence delivery and finance leadership.
• Experience with contract lifecycle, revenue recognition, and WIP/ETC forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers as a financial advisor to ensure contractual and financial objectives.
• Contribute to project setup, budgeting, rate selection, and pricing tool inputs.
• Advise on financial planning, risk identification, and margin optimization.
• Review labor structures, funding, billing methods, and revenue recognition against contracts.
• Monitor project forecasts, budgets, and variances; prepare actionable insights for PMs.
• Support audits, compliance, and cross‑functional escalation to improve processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Controllership, and procurement to manage subcontracts and AP.
