WSP is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to partner with Project Managers and Finance teams to drive profitability, forecasting accuracy, and financial controls across a portfolio of projects in the Transportation and Infrastructure line.

The role requires 3–5 years in project accounting/finance, strong Excel/ERP (Oracle) skills, and experience with Power BI or similar tools. Collaboration across departments and effective communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA, CGA or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of project accounting, project finance, commercial finance, or related experience, preferably within engineering, construction, environmental, consulting, or professional services organizations.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, forecasting, budgeting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
• Experience supporting medium to large, complex project portfolios.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis, and project performance reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and data visualization tools preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret contract financial terms and assess project financial risk.
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships with project teams, operational leaders, and finance partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Project Managers to support the financial success of projects.
• Guide project setup including budgets, WBS, billing methods, and rates.
• Review project financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support project forecasting, revenue recognition, and profitability management.
• Analyze labor utilization, project costs, and margins to improve project performance.
• Advise teams on project funding, contract requirements, and financial controls.
