Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive consistent project delivery by building the PM community and applying standardized PM practices across the PM team. The role reports to the Senior PMCL and oversees coaching, performance, and risk management to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include acting as PIR on projects, guiding project control teams, and leading process improvements in resource management and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable field and relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills across pursuit to closeout.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with internal/external customers.
• Knowledge of contracts, PM frameworks, and commercial practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the PM/Commercial lead for project delivery across PM teams.
• Coach and mentor project managers; oversee PIRs and performance reviews.
• Ensure consistent application of PM practices and risk, quality, and cost controls.
• Lead resource management and scheduling improvements when needed.
• Support bid pricing, proposals, and commercial risk assessments.
