Job summary

Dow is seeking a Project Controls Lead in Houston, Texas. You will lead the Project Controls function, owning cost and schedule forecasting, risk management, and governance across complex capital projects.

You will partner with Project Engineers, Design, Construction, Procurement and business stakeholders to integrate cost, schedule, risk, and change management throughout the project lifecycle. You will act as the Project Controls resource within Dow's Global Project Methodology, driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence project teams without direct reporting lines.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead application of Project Controls processes to improve cost and schedule performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on PST and Design Team; advise project leadership.
• Provide direction to Project Controls resources; ensure full coverage across FEL, Detailed Engineering and Construction.
• Monitor workload; identify resource needs and escalate as needed.
• Deliver forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis and performance measurement.
• Complete monthly project reports and executive reviews.
• Maintain quality and integrity of all Project Controls deliverables.
• Communicate meaningful insights to manage risks and opportunities.
• Report project status to internal and external stakeholders; support IPA reviews.
• Oversee Change Management; evaluate impacts on cost, schedule, scope and objectives.
