Job summary

Dow Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Controls Lead to drive cost, schedule, forecasting, and risk management across complex capital projects.

You will lead the Project Controls team within the Project Steering Team and collaborate with Project Engineers, Design, Construction, and Procurement to ensure safe, predictable project outcomes. The role emphasizes governance, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement, with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence project teams without direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead application of Project Controls processes, tools, and best practices to improve cost and schedule performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and advise project leadership.
• Provide leadership to Project Controls resources across FEL, Detailed Engineering, and Construction.
• Monitor workload and identify resource needs, escalating when necessary.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance measurement.
