Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects, ensuring customer relationships, cost control, scheduling, and technical execution. You will manage programs with budgets up to $20M and serve as the primary point of contact for customers, while coordinating with stakeholders to meet constraints.

The MST business area provides ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide, with a history of supporting DoD, DHS, and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• 1+ years leading teams of 3+ cross functional members.
• Experience with evaluating RFQs/RFPs and submitting proposals/quotes.
• Experience with contract negotiations and different contract types.

Responsibilities

• Manage programmatic aspects of multiple projects focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report project status, technical execution and overall program performance.
• Supervise program staff to ensure successful outcomes and be the primary customer POC.
• Participate in business resource planning and coordination with corporate entities.
• Formulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements and mitigate risks.
