Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director to lead a major health marketplace program. The role serves as the overall Account Leader, driving strategy, program delivery, and client satisfaction across executive stakeholders, business units, and technical teams.

Travel is required for client meetings and program activities. The position emphasizes operational excellence, governance, risk management, and strategic transformation to meet long‑term client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 12-15 years of professional experience in a related field required.
• Experience leading government services programs within the Health and Human Services (HHS) sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs with responsibility for operational and technology delivery.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross‑functional teams in a client‑facing environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, adapt to changing business needs, and make sound decisions.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on operational oversight and day‑to‑day program management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing profit and loss statements.
• Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and state/federal regulations.
• Plan, develop, and schedule priorities for achieving operational and performance goals.
• Review management, productivity, and financial reports to ensure objectives are met.
• Drive governance, risk management, and staffing alignment across initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and guide resource planning and staffing levels.
