Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Director to lead a major program within the MA Connector Program, overseeing strategy, delivery, and ongoing transformation of enrollment and premium processing systems. You will partner with executives, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure program success, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across a complex health marketplace initiative.

This role requires travel for client meetings and program activities, with strong focus on governance, risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 12-15 years of professional experience in related field required
• Experience leading government services programs within Health and Human Services (HHS) sector
• Proven track record leading cross-functional client-facing teams
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the program's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing P&L.
• Ensure operations comply with contract requirements and state/federal regulations.
• Establish goals and objectives aligned to project strategies.
• Lead project administrative operations including budget, controls, and HR.
• Plan and schedule priorities to achieve performance goals.
• Review reports to ensure program objectives are met.
• Support audits, forecasts, modeling, and strategic direction.
• Mentor and develop operational managers and staff.
• Coordinate resource assignments across the enterprise.
• Define priorities with leadership and secure needed resources.
• Monitor budget, schedule, and resources across initiatives.
• Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with management input.
