Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Director to lead the MA Connector Program as the Account Leader, guiding strategy, program delivery, and technology-enabled transformations. You will work with executive stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of enrollment and premium processing programs.

Occasional travel supports client meetings and program activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• 12–15 years of professional experience in a related field required.
• Experience leading government services programs within the Health and Human Services (HHS) sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs with responsibility for operational and technology delivery.
• Strong leadership and client-facing capabilities with strategic and hands-on oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the program's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and state/federal regulations.
• Lead and align project goals with overall program strategies.
• Manage budget, financial controls, and human resources for the program.
• Plan and schedule priorities to achieve operational and performance targets.
• Review reports to ensure program objectives are met and provide guidance as needed.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with guidance and written responses.
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide mentoring and development for staff.
• Coordinate staffing across initiatives and secure resources for initiatives.
• Drive governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion process optimization and technology modernization efforts.
