Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Product Strategist to translate market insights into actionable strategies for the Self-Funded & Buy-Ups line. You will support competitive intelligence, roadmaps, and profitability-focused recommendations under the Director of Self Funded & Buy-Ups.

The role emphasizes leadership, critical thinking, and delivering results with a hybrid in-office schedule (two days per week) and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or HS diploma with 4 years of relevant experience; MBA/MPH preferred.
• 7+ years in product strategy, management, or health plan products.
• Experience shaping product strategy, roadmaps, and business cases.
• Experience with market research, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of health plan products and regulatory environments.
• Excellent project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
