Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Senior Manager, Product Strategy to lead a team of product managers and consultants in designing, developing, and deploying multi-horizon product strategies across all lines of business.

You will collaborate with stakeholders within the Ascendium family, report to the Director, Product Strategy, and drive strategic initiatives while fostering leadership, growth, and results across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience; master's degree preferred
• At least 8 years, including 4 years of people management with direct reports
• Experience leading product managers/strategists to execute long- and short-term product strategies
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Experience translating strategy inputs into executable initiatives across at least one product or capability
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to ensure delivery of product outcomes
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
• Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences
• Health plan product experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers and consultants to design, develop, and deploy multi-horizon product strategies

• Translate product strategy inputs into executable initiatives across products/capabilities
