Rosendin in Houston seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage and forecast material purchases, equipment sourcing, and subcontract administration for multiple projects. You will work with project managers, vendors, and the procurement team to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical construction procurement, strong vendor negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced electrical procurement environment.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive requisitions for materials and equipment from project managers.
• Source materials and equipment per company procedures.
• Solicit vendor quotations and analyze for best economic value.
• Generate and distribute purchase orders per procedures.
• Track and expeditate orders; update scheduling in procurement system.
• Support estimating by obtaining budgetary quotations from vendors.
• Prepare submittal documentation for project managers.
