Job summary

Rosendin is hiring a Procurement Specialist to manage purchase of electrical equipment and construction materials, and issue subcontracts. You will coordinate with the Procurement Department to forecast, procure inventory from multiple suppliers, and optimize value aligned to corporate directives.

The role requires knowledge of procurement practices, and experience with vendor management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential; join an employee-owned leader with growth

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials.
• Knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies, and accounting.
• Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
• Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
• Interact effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

Responsibilities

• Receive requisitions for materials and equipment from project managers and field operations.
• Review and source materials and equipment per established practices.
• Solicit quotations from vendors and present findings to management for best economic value.
• Generate and distribute purchase orders.
• Track and expedite existing orders and maintain procurement scheduling.
• Support estimating by contacting vendors for quotes for materials and equipment.
