Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Houston, TX to purchase electrical equipment and construction materials, issue subcontracts, and manage supplier relationships.

The role supports project managers, forecasts needs, and maintains procurement schedules. Candidate should have at least 2 years in fast-paced procurement within electrical construction, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; Oracle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of procurement techniques, policies, and accounting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and project teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requisitions for materials from project managers and field ops.
• Source materials/equipment per procedures and solicit vendor quotations.
• Generate purchase orders and track/expedite orders to align with schedules.
• Support estimating by obtaining vendor quotations for bids.
• Prepare submittals and assist project managers as needed.
