Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company (APS) seeks a Procurement Specialist II/III to lead sourcing and procurement for major capital projects. You will develop sourcing plans, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to meet project schedules and optimize total cost.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain with several years of procurement experience, plus strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• A four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Plus three (3) years of procurement experience in materials or services positions for PS II.
• Plus six (6) years of procurement experience in materials or services positions for PS III.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with Business Unit partners and suppliers to ensure a continuous flow of quality materials/services.
• Execute P2P process for goods and services to maximize value.
• Lead RFx process to source and negotiate long-term contracts with KPIs up to $10M.
• Manage stakeholders to influence project budgets and orders.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers and manage change orders.
