Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Two years of engineering-related experience for Engineer II.
• Five years of engineering-related experience for Engineer III.
• A relevant Master’s degree may substitute for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical knowledge and expertise to Customer Construction to ensure reliability and stability of our distribution system.
• Work with divisional personnel to find most cost efficient ways to serve new customers.
• Provide timely solutions for new customers from Economic Development.
• Develop and maintain feeder and transformer forecasts.
• Facilitate multi-department meetings to develop capital projects to address system deficiencies identified as a result of forecast assumptions.
• Perform modeling, simulation and analysis on distribution circuits using the CYME distribution modeling tool.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry trends and technology through involvement and/or interaction with research institutes (EPRI, etc.), industry peer groups, and regulatory bodies (ACC).

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited/IEA recognized/ABET MRA)

Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience
