Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks a Procurement Specialist II/III to lead sourcing and procurement for major capital projects. You will develop sourcing plans, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risk to support safe, reliable project delivery.

The role collaborates with business units and stakeholders to ensure timely access to equipment, materials, and services, with a focus on cost efficiency and continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline plus 3 years procurement experience; or 7 years procurement experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3 years procurement experience in materials or services positions.
• PS III requires a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years procurement experience; or 10 years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with Business Unit partners and suppliers to ensure a continuous flow of quality materials and services at the lowest total cost.
• Execute P2P processes for goods and services to maximize value and monitor performance.
• Lead RFx processes and negotiate contracts up to $10M in spend with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to influence project budgets and orders.
• Develop market-based negotiation plans and SRM for key suppliers.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and optimize inventory using MRP; ensure timely deliveries.
