Arizona Public Service (APS) in Phoenix is seeking a Contracts Analyst (Supply Chain) to support Category Managers, Strategic Procurement and procurement staff. You will review contract terms, draft amendments, and negotiate favorable terms to mitigate risk and maximize value.

The role emphasizes developing contract templates, training staff on contracting practices, and providing risk-management expertise during negotiations and post-contract activities, with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5 years of experience in paralegal, legal or contract administration.
• Alternative: Nine years' combined paralegal/legal/contract administration experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills for contracts and amendments.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, negotiates, and manages contracts and subcontracts with internal customers and suppliers.
• Supports Category Managers and Strategic Procurement in contract terms and risk mitigation.
• Develops and maintains contract templates (master and standalones).
• Drafts and negotiates information technology, NDA, and addenda provisions.
• Creates training materials and trains staff on contracting policies and procedures.
• Provides risk management expertise during negotiations and contract execution.
• Documents exceptions and seeks attorney approvals as needed.
• Enters contract data into the contract system and supports post-contract audits.
