Job summary

The New York City Department of Transportation, Division of Bridges, seeks an Associate Contract Specialist to support procurement, review ESA Task Orders, and process CMAs. You will work closely with ACCO and use PASSPort to configure RFx and manage project documentation.

Based at 55 Water St, Manhattan, the role offers a 35-hour work week with premium-free health insurance, a defined-benefit pension, commuter benefits, and opportunities for growth in a large public sector agency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related professional experience in procurement/contract management.
• Or a four-year high school diploma and six years of related work experience.
• Equivalent combinations acceptable; residency rules may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist procurement using competitive sealed proposals and PASSPort.
• Review ESA Task Orders and CMAs for completeness and compliance.
• Prepare RFxs and review documentation for accuracy before submission.
• Monitor procurement tracking with Excel and update CMA / PQL records.
• Coordinate with ACCO and project teams to verify funding prior to procurements.
