The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks a Procurement Specialist for the Capital Budget and Contracts (CBC) Division, located at DEP headquarters in Queens, NY. The role focuses on management and processing of professional services and construction procurements for City contracts.

Under supervision, the Procurement Specialist will create RFP/CSB documents, monitor proc­urement, process funding requests, and resolve inquiries across multiple departments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Associate degree or 60 semester credits with 12 months professional procurement experience.
• Four-year high school diploma and two years of procurement/contract experience.
• Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to above.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and process professional services and construction procurements for City contracts.
• Gather information to create RFP and CSB documents and monitor procurement through contracting process.
• Initiate, review and process funding requests with DEP budget office.
• Use Passport to prepare procurement documents and respond to inquiries.
