Job summary

AbbVie in South San Francisco is seeking a Sr Manager Process Excellence Lead to optimize Oncology Early Development operations, including clinical operations, data management, and medical monitoring. You will define opportunities, ensure documentation, training, and compliant delivery.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to implement process improvements, monitor KPIs, and drive change management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or regulated industry.
5+ years process management and continuous improvement experience preferred.
Strong project management skills with ability to drive progress and deliver presentations with impact.
Experience with metrics to drive risk-based decisions and business insights.
Knowledge of GxP and change management practices is preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder management in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Own the governance and maintenance of OED operating models, process frameworks, and knowledge resources.
Define metrics and KPIs for assigned processes and plan updates with leaders.
Lead continuous process improvement and drive efficiency in assigned areas.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement process changes and templates.
Monitor performance and compliance, recommending countermeasures as needed.
