Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL invites a Senior Manager, Strategic Process Excellence Lead to optimize Oncology Early Development (OED) development operations. You will drive process improvements across clinical operations, data management, statistical programming, and medical monitoring.

Leading metrics, governance, and cross-functional collaboration, you will ensure sustainable improvements, training, and effective change management for ongoing organizational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or regulated industry.
• 5+ years process management and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills with ability to drive progress and present with impact.
• Experience using metrics to drive risk-based decisions and insights.
• Robust understanding of GxP and change management.

Responsibilities

• Own process health for Oncology Early Development (OED) operations.
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure process health and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to update SOPs and training materials.
• Identify pain points and drive continuous process improvement.
• Coordinate governance of operating models and knowledge resources.
• Communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.
