Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Sr Manager, Strategic Process Excellence Lead for OED Development Operations to optimize oncology development processes across clinical operations, data management, and medical monitoring. You will own process health, drive improvements, and enable compliant, scalable operations within a highly regulated, matrixed organization.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and deep knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or regulated industry; 6+ with Masters, 4+ with PhD (required).
• 5+ years process management and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills with ability to drive progress and present with impact.
• Experience with metrics to drive risk-based decisions and insights.
• Knowledge of GxP and change management in a complex matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Own process health of Oncology Early Development Operations (OED) and manage governance and maintenance of operating models.
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure process health and compliance; forecast plans with leaders.
• Lead continuous process improvement and drive efficiency across process areas.
• Participate in teams to define processes and update SOPs, requirements, and training materials.
• Communicate updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders for alignment.
