Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Sr Manager Process Excellence Lead to optimize Oncology Early Development processes, spanning clinical operations, data management, statistical programming and medical monitoring. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or regulated industry; 6+ with Masters, 4+ with PhD (required).
• 5+ years process management and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to be resourceful and drive progress while communicating with impact.
• Experience with metrics to drive risk-based business decisions and/or improvements; strong data insights.
• Recognised leader in standard business procedures, with change management experience and GxP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a process expert and owner for Oncology Early Development operations.
• Defines metrics and KPIs to measure process health and compliance.
• Drives continuous process improvement and implements countermeasures.
• Leads teams to update SOPs, requirements specs, and training materials.
• Maintains governance of operating models and knowledge resources.
• Monitors performance metrics and recommends improvements based on data.
• Protects sustainability of improvements by partnering with process owners.
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior in all situations.
