Job summary

AbbVie in Florham Park, NJ seeks Sr Manager Process Excellence Lead to optimize Oncology Early Development operations, including clinical ops, data management, statistical programming and medical monitoring. You will identify opportunities, define processes, deliver training and ensure compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive continuous improvement, establish KPIs, govern operating models, and communicate updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or regulated industry; Master’s 6+ years; PhD 4+ years (required).
• Experience with metrics to drive risk-based decisions and data-driven insights.
• Strong project management and change-management capabilities in a regulated environment.
• Experience leading process excellence initiatives in Oncology or related biopharma domains.

Responsibilities

• Serve as process expert and owner of process health for Oncology Early Development (OED) operations.
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure process health, compliance, and performance.
• Lead continuous process improvement initiatives and drive alignment with leadership.
• Govern and maintain OED operating models, frameworks, and knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process updates and SOPs.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and present strategic recommendations.
