Job summary

IDI is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy, governance, and analytics across the business. You will partner with Sales and Finance to implement scalable pricing frameworks, improve margins, and increase market share.

The role includes leading the pricing operations team, defining guardrails, and driving data-driven decision-making with governance across customer segments and products. This on-site position located in Minnesota offers growth and exposure to enterprise pricing

Qualifications

• Candidates should have 5–8+ years in pricing, FP&A, analytics, or commercial finance.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or building materials preferred.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled pricing tools and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise pricing strategy aligned with margin and growth goals.
• Define pricing guardrails, policies, and workflows across customer segments and products.
• Manage pricing operations team and ensure SAP pricing is accurate and updated.
• Lead price increase processes, including timing, segmentation, and communication.
• Partner with Sales leadership to drive adoption of pricing strategies and tools.
• Support key customer negotiations with data-backed pricing recommendations.
• Develop training programs and materials to improve pricing capabilities.
• Monitor adherence to pricing policies and elevate exceptions as needed.
• Analytics & Insights: Build pricing analytics, margin waterfall, price realization, and segmentation models.
• Identify margin leakage and pricing opportunities through transaction-level analysis.
• Process Improvement and Documentation: document processes, streamline and automate pricing and costing processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement in pricing workflows and systems.
