Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, seeks a Strategic Pricing Manager to drive pricing strategy and governance. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to identify opportunities and support growth and profitability.

You will develop pricing models, analyze performance, and present insights to senior leaders, guiding national accounts and PAR approvals. Hybrid work in Plymouth, MN with visa notes as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or marketing.
• 4–6+ years in pricing, revenue management, or commercial strategy.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and governance.
• Experience with market dynamics and value-based pricing principles.
• Proficiency with pricing systems and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities via market and financial analysis to drive profitable growth.
• Lead pricing analyses for price changes and new product launches with Finance and ISC.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, and customer economics for actionable guidance.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for initiatives.
• Present pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Provide guidance for major commercial opportunities and PARs.
• Review PARs to ensure policy alignment and profitability objectives.
• Improve pricing processes, analytics, governance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to balance value, competitiveness, and objectives.
