Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager in Plymouth, MN (Hybrid). You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to develop pricing strategies, analyze market trends, and drive profitable growth.

You will lead pricing analyses for new product launches, adjust pricing, and support governance and reporting initiatives to strengthen pricing effectiveness. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business-related field.
• 4–6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and profitability drivers.
• Experience with market dynamics, value-based pricing, and financial analyses.
• Proficiency in pricing governance and deal economics.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis and develop pricing strategies.
• Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new product launches with Finance and ISC.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to provide recommendations.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership in reviews.
• Provide pricing guidance for major opportunities, national accounts, and PARs.
• Review and approve PARs ensuring governance and profitability alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes, governance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance value, competitiveness, and business goals.
