Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance and Operations. You will develop pricing strategies that drive profitable growth, improve price realization, and maintain market competitiveness.

In this role you will build pricing models, analyze market trends and customer economics, present insights to senior leadership, and help govern pricing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience leveraging market dynamics and value-based pricing for recommendations.
• Proficiency in pricing governance, approvals, sales practices, and deal economics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis and develop strategies.
• Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new product launches with financial impact assessments.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to formulate recommendations.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing performance and insights to senior leadership in reviews.
• Provide pricing guidance for major commercial opportunities and PARs.
• Review and approve PARs, ensuring alignment with policies and profitability.
