Job summary

Daikin Applied, a leading HVAC company, seeks a Strategic Pricing Manager to drive pricing strategy and profitability. You will partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations to identify opportunities, analyze margins, and support new product introductions.

You will build models and present insights to leadership, guiding national deals and PARs while continuously improving governance and analytics. High-level collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, methodologies, and best practices to drive profitability.
• Proficiency in pricing governance, approvals, sales practices, and deal economics.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills to synthesize large datasets for decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leadership.
• Advanced Excel and pricing analytics tools experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities with key stakeholders and develop strategies.
• Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new product launches with Finance and ISC.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership in reviews.
• Provide pricing guidance for opportunities, national accounts, and PARs.
• Review and approve PARs ensuring alignment with policies and profitability.
• Drive pricing process improvements, governance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance value, competitiveness, and objectives.
