Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs. You will work with a multidisciplinary HDR team to deliver T&D, generation, and renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and HDR standards.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and experience in managing large capital programs. A travel expectation of ~25% supports client engagement across multiple sites and locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of program management experience in a deputy role to the Program Manager for the delivery of one or more programs, with a cumulative capital value of $200 million or more, or 5 years as PM/Project Manager for programs with capital value $200 million+.
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR) and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects.
  • Primary point of contact for clients on scope, contracts, and program performance.
  • Advise clients on technical, regulatory, and delivery strategies for power programs.
  • Develop and implement program management plans, processes, and tools to drive efficiencies and transparency.
  • Prepare monthly program reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
