Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites a seasoned Project Management & Commercial Lead to drive consistent, best-in-class project delivery across the PM team.

You will coach, monitor performance, and advise on risk, quality, and commercial metrics, reporting to the Senior PMCL. The role emphasizes leading PM practices, coordinating with BC leadership, and guiding PIR reviews while supporting proposal reviews and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable technical, business, or professional degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong project management skills and ability to plan and execute projects from pursuit through closeout
• Ability to identify a project heading towards distress and provide mitigation guidance
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Stantec financial methodologies, procedures, and policies
• Knowledge of contracts and commercial agreements

Responsibilities

• Support HSSE practices on project delivery
• Lead and mentor project managers and project controls staff, including training on Oracle dashboards and IPS
• Serve as PIR and conduct project review meetings to monitor performance, budget, schedule, risk, and quality
• Drive consistent PM practices in line with PM requirements and framework
• Assist in pricing, bids, and proposals to support business objectives
• Oversee resource management and corrective actions for distressed projects
