Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT staff.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and open-source IT hardware, software, and services.
• Experience managing a matrixed workforce and cross-team collaboration.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to think long-term and apply new technology to improve services.
• Candidates must have a current security clearance and meet DoD 8140 compliance (Security+ minimum).

Responsibilities

• Lead IT-related activities across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud services, security, and compliance.
• Ensure continuity of computer, network, and application services through leadership and planning.
• Align IT services with business processes and customer requirements.
• Perform technical analysis, estimates, design reviews, and governance.
• Forecast costs and prepare IT budgets and performance reports.
• Recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades for IT assets.
• Develop policies and standards to strengthen service delivery and security.
• Audit systems and maintain backup and recovery readiness.
• Identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement strategic improvements.
• Prepare long-range system plans and oversee feasibility studies.
• Analyze complex business needs and propose scalable IT solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff, including performance reviews.
