Job summary

Capstone Analytic is seeking a Performance Monitoring & Data Analyst to support DoD Federal Client in portfolio management, FP&A, and acquisition support. The role requires rigorous data collection, cleaning, validation, and analysis across cost, schedule, performance, and technical sources to deliver actionable insights to leadership.

The ideal candidate will excel at transforming unfamiliar datasets into clear metrics, develop repeatable data processes, and communicate findings to FP&A

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of data analysis experience in BI, performance analysis or portfolio analysis.
• Strong ability to extract, clean, transform, organize, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, lookups, data validation, Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Collect, extract, clean, organize, validate, and analyze data from multiple financial, acquisition, schedule, performance, and technical sources.
• Develop datasets and recurring metrics to monitor portfolio health and risk trends for leadership.
• Analyze cost, schedule, performance, and value data to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Support dashboard and reporting development with reliable datasets and metric logic.
• Document assumptions, data transformations, and analytical methods.
